About Edinburg:
The University of Edinburgh’s academic structure is based on three Colleges containing a total of 22 Schools.An alphabetical listing of the University’s support services (non-academic departments).A list of the University’s Academic Units, Subunits, Support Services, Associated Institutions and Related Organisations.

Eligibility:
These bursaries are awarded to mature UK/EU citizens returning to higher education after at least three years away from university.
Applicants should already have been offered a full-time postgraduate place at the University and should have firmly accepted that offer.
The bursary awards are conditional on this, as well as proof of formal child-care costs.
The bursary is applicable only for registered or formal childcare costs, particularly assisting single parents.
Formal childcare includes childminders, after school clubs and providers of day-care and education.

Who may Apply:
1. The bursaries will be awarded to mature UK/EU citizens who are returning to higher education after at least three years away from university. 2. The bursary will be available to help towards the cost of registered or formal childcare, particularly assisting single parents. Formal childcare includes childminders, after school clubs and providers of day-care and education.

Award:
The bursaries have a maximum value of £3,000 per annum.Bursaries are awarded for one year in the first instance. However, successful applicants pursuing postgraduate degree programmes of more than one year can apply for a further bursary in subsequent years.
