Cardiff School Of Engineering Master Studentships 2010, UK

The Cardiff School of Engineering is one of the most prestigious engineering schools in the UK. Our main degree schemes have each been ranked top in the UK in various independent assessments in recent times, with Civil Engineering ranked top of the ‘Times League Table’ for the last three years, Mechanical Engineering currently ranked 8th (4th in Guardian League table) and Electrical and Electronic Engineering 20th. Currently there are some 300 international students enrolled on undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes within the School. The scholarships are aimed at recruiting high quality students and will be allocated to selected students on a competitive basis.

Funding:

The School of Engineering Scholarships are available to full time undergraduate and postgraduate taught students and are worth £1,500 for the first year of your studies.

Academic Criteria:

The scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis to those students with the best academic results.

Eligibility:

All self-funding students who are classified as overseas students for fee paying purposes and who are not in receipt of any other scholarship. Students must also have accepted their offer of a place by 30th June for entry in September of the same year.

How to Apply:

You do not need to formally apply. All self funding students who have accepted their offer on a firm basis will automatically be considered for an award. You will be informed shortly after you have accepted the offer of a place if you have been awarded a scholarship and payments will commence after enrolment on the relevant programme.
