Scholarship Introduction:
Students receive an excellent education at an affordable cost in Albany College of Pharmacy. The Office of Financial Aid will help you through every step of the financial aid process so you make the best choices for you and your family.
Eligibility for scholarship:
Many students will be assisted by grants, scholarships and loans from state
and federal governments, the College and other private agencies.
Approximately 91 percent of current students have received some assistance
Total assistance for 2006-2007:
Grants and Scholarships – $4,167,952
Loans – $21,504,972.
All students are expected to apply for federal and state grant programs for
which they may be eligible. Students are also expected to use the Federal
Stafford Loan Program when necessary. Students are expected to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Renewal FAFSA each year in order to determine financial aid eligibility.

Students must have unmet need in order to qualify for need-based
aid. The College will determine the student’s unmet financial need by deducting the federal expected family contribution from the student’s cost of attendance. Need-based awards are limited and offered on a first-come, first served basis to students who meet the College’s financial aid deadlines.
How to apply:
You can apply for federal and state aid over the Internet or by filing the free Federal Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) form. Your financial aid award will be based on certain federal eligibility requirements. You also will need to take note of some important dates and deadlines to make sure you submit your information on time.

November 16, 2009
Spring 2010 semester bill for 6th year students due. Spring 2010 semester bills mailed during the week of October 12, 2009.
January 9, 2010
Spring 2010 semester bill for 1st – 5th year students due. Spring 2010 semester bills mailed during the week of December 14, 2009.
