[Qatar] Scholarships at Faculty of Islamic Studies

Scholarships are available for international students at the Faculty of Islamic Studies for the academic year 2009/10.

Scholarships
His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani Scholarships:

• 5 scholarships for MSc in Islamic Finance
• 5 scholarships for General Diploma in Islamic Studies

Her Highness Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al Missned Scholarships:

• 5 scholarships for MA in Public Policy in Islam
• 5 scholarships for MA in Islamic Studies with a specialization in Religion and contemporary thought

Sheikh Youssef Al Qaradawi Scholarships:

• 5 scholarships for MA in Islamic Studies with a specialization in contemporary fiqh

Scholarship includes

• Program tuition fees
• Housing
• Recreation, phone, internet
• Health plan fee
• Transportation inside and outside Qatar Foundation

General Requirement/Criteria

• Submission of a completed application form
  Evidence of a grade of “Very Good” (GPA of 3.4 or above) in the first (undergraduate) degree
• A strong command of English with a minimum TOFEL score of 550Pass Arabic Test (within the first year of studies at Qatar)
