Masters Scholarships for International Students at Exeter University

Deadline: May 29, 2009
Open to: International students with high academic ability
Funding: Full tuition-fee merit-based scholarships

Masters Scholarships for International Students

The University has up to 10 full tuition-fee merit-based scholarships for international students on taught Masters programmes starting in October 2009.

These scholarships are open to applicants interested in programmes from the following Schools:

* Arts, Languages and Literatures
* Biosciences (Two available)
* Geography
* Humanities and Social Sciences (including Archaeology)
* Law
* Psychology
* Sports and Health Sciences (Two available)

All of these awards are aimed at international students with high academic ability (typically at least upper second class honours or international equivalent). Applicants who require pre-sessional English will be considered but will have a lower priority for an award than applicants who meet the University’s English language requirements. Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate, through their application, the potential to progress to doctoral study at Exeter.

Please note that a few programmes are excluded from these Scholarships:

Masters in Public Administration (MPA) within Humanities and Social Sciences

All MFA programmes within Arts, Languages and Literatures

Masters by Research (MA or MSc) programmes, new for 2009, are excluded as they offer the opportunity to pursue a one year research project without a taught element.
