Bachelor and MA Programs: FMK Digital Art and New Media

The Faculty of Media and Communications have launched its *DIGITAL ART AND NEW MEDIA* study programs designed for students interested in learning, researching and creatively exploring and critically commenting on digital media, methods and forms in practical and theoretical work.

The programs combine foundational curriculum with cross-disciplinary theoretical support for the study along art, design and the practical work with the digital media. Courses delivered through modules held by adjunct faculty/professiona ls reflect the program's ties to various digital media industries, professionals, and independent artists and researchers. Through lectures, site visits, discussions, readings, and intensive studio practice, students will gain understanding of the critical, historical, and social dimensions of digital media and its impact to contemporary world along with skills critical for their future work as designers, artists,
marketing/advertisi ng experts, media experts, but also critical thinkers,
authors, and theoreticians of contemporary culture and art.
