The University of Luxembourg is a multilingual, international research University.
The Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance of the University of Luxembourg has an opening for a
Post-doc in Economics (M/F) in the area of Dynamic Macroeconomics
Ref: F2-110020 (to be mentioned in all correspondence)
2-year contract, 40h/week, renewable for a maximum of 60 months
Employee status
The applicant should have research interests in Dynamic Macroeconomics and policy issues that require an inter-temporal analytic perspective. These include, e.g., demographics and pensions, productive government activity, government budget deficits, macro-finance, or the stability of a monetary union. Candidates are required to have accomplished their PhD in Macroeconomics.

Tasks within CREA’s Macroeconomic Research Group (Professor Irmen, Professor Sneessens, Professor Zou):

research projects both independent and in collaboration,
publications and contributions to conferences in the field of Dynamic Macroeconomics,
assistance to PhD candidates,
teaching activities up to two hours per week,
tutoring students.
Profile

PhD in Economics, preferably with a specialization in Dynamic Macroeconomics,
excellent knowledge of and ability to conduct independent research at a post-doctoral level with the objective to publish in international, peer-reviewed journals,
excellent written and oral skills in English and basic skills in French and/or German are desirable.
ability to work in a team.
