National Geographic Channel World Nomads Travel Photography Scholarship 2010

National Geographic Channel World Nomads Travel Photography Scholarship 2010 in conjunction with National Geographic Channel is offering the chance to go to Bhutan on-assignment with National Geographic photographer Jason Edwards. The Scholarship recipient will photograph rare and endangered wildlife, historical architecture and colourful cultural life in Bhutan.

The winner of the scholarship will be flown to Paro from their country of residence where they will join an 7 day personalised expedition with Jo Jo’s Adventures.


Anyone can apply – this is open to photography students, lovers of photography or any non-professional trying to kickstart a career in travel photography.
Minimum age 18.
This is a global opportunity – you may apply from any country.
You should be an exceptional photographer with a lust for adventure, ambition to grow your photographic skills and forge a career in Travel Photography, and of course a desire to travel to Antarctica.
Remember this is a scholarship, a learning experience, and therefore will not be suitable for professional or Semi-professional photographers.
