Scholarship Introduction:

Curtin University of Technology

The Institute of Theoretical Physics Scholarship is available to a student who is interested in pursing a career in physics and has demonstrated a high-level of academic achievement.

Eligibility for Scholarship:

• CUSPC – Bachelor of Science majoring in (Physics) and will progress into a double major in either Physics & Mathematical Science Major or Physics & Scientific Computing Major in 2nd year.

Applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria to be considered for the Institute of Theoretical Physics Scholarship:

• Receive a TER of 98.00 or above, or exceptional performance in Mathematics and Physics

• Have selected Curtin University of Technology as a first preference through TISC to undertake an eligible science degree

• Be undertaking the first semester of their first undergraduate degree at Curtin University of Technology in Semester 1, 2010

• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or the holder of a Permanent Humanitarian or Permanent Resident visa

• Be eligible for a commonwealth supported place
