The Politecnico di Torino offers international students The Masters Scholarships in Navigation and Related Applications for the year 2010/11 in Italy

The Politecnico di Torino offers international students the possibility to receive a scholarship and other benefits attending a II level specializing master program. The initiative is promoted by the Politecnico di Torino and the Compagnia di San Paolo.
Eligibility:
  • In order to be admitted into the II Level Specializing Master program, applicants must possess a 5-year (10 semesters) university degree. Applications from students who possess a 4-year (8 semesters) university degree may be possibly evaluated by the selection commission.
  • The MNA program is addressed to graduate students having completed a Master of Science Degree or an equivalent title in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Enviromental Engeneering, Communication Engineering, Information Technology or related subjects.
  • Written and spoken English is required (English is the official language of the MNA), together with basic notions in communication theory and electronics.
  • To profitably follow the Specializing Master program, candidates should have some background in the areas:
  1. Principles of digital communications
  2. Principles of digital signal processing
  3. Basics of electromagnetic wave propagation
  4. Basics of software tools (e.g. Matlab) and programming languages (e.g. C)
  • No basic knowledge in navigation is required. A lack of background in one or two areas is considered acceptable.
