The Politecnico di Torino offers international students The Masters Scholarships in Wireless Systems and Related Technologies for the year 2010/11 in Italy
- In order to be admitted into the second level Specializing Master program, applicants must possess a 5-year (10 semesters) university degree. Applications from students who possess a 4-year (8 semesters) university degree may be possibly evaluated by the selection commission.
- The MWST program is addressed to graduate students having completed a curriculum in Electronic engineering, Telecommunication engineering, Information technology or equivalent subjects.
- Prospective candidates must have good command of written and spoken English, together with basic notions in communication theory and electronics. All tuition will be in English.
- To profitably follow the II Level Specializing Master program, candidates should have some background in the areas:
- Fourier Transforms
- Stochastic Variables and Processes
- Elements of Digital Transmission
- Elements of Communication Networks
- Protocols Basics of Semiconductor Devices and Materials
- Transmission Line Theory
- Basics of Analog and Digital Electronic Circuits
- Basics of Electromagnetic Wave Propagation
- A lack of background in one or two areas is considered acceptable, while having no background in four or more of the above fields should discourage application.

- After the application deadline a Master committee will evaluate the candidatures.
- At the end of the selection process, a provisional list of standings will be posted up to the Official Register of the Politecnico di Torino and, at the same time, will be published on this site.
- These ones will be the only official communication about the outcomes of the selection .
- The list will give the names of the students who have been selected and the names of the eligible applicants that may be selected in the event of a renunciation of chosen candidates.
- When the provisional list of standings is posted up to the Official Register on the Politecnico di Torino and on this site, an e-mail message will be sent to all the selected and eligible applicants summarising the procedures for the enrolment. This message will be sent to the address(es) specified by the students themselves in their on-line application form.
