USA Cedar Crest College- Undergraduate Scholarship 2010 Scholarship Introduction: LATINA LEADERSHIP PARTNER SCHOLARSHIP For First Year or Transfer Lehigh Valley Latina students in partnership with the Latino Leadership Alliance of the Lehigh Valley – award based on demonstrated record of academic excellence and leadership Scholarship Eligibility: The applicant must be of Hispanic Heritage and a resident of Lehigh or Northampton County. Incomplete applications will not be considered for scholarship. How to apply: A one page typed personal essay written by the student describing career objectives, community and/or school involvement, and any special circumstances that would warrant consideration. (See last page.) The applicant’s High School, G.E.D. or College transcript. A copy of the applicant’s latest tax return and copy of the parent’s latest tax return, if claimed as a dependent. One letter of recommendation written by a teacher, community leader, employer etc. (The person cannot be a relative). Proof of enrollment or letter of acceptance from a post-secondary institution.
