    USA: BU Global Program Update

*Changes in Boston University Global Programs*

The program offerings and admissions requirements have changed and we hope you will read this  carefully as it impacts the type of programs available to your students.

*Starting in Fall 2010, BU Global will no longer offer the diploma and certificate programs.* *In the place of these certificates, BU Global will administer* *Abroad@BU Graduate Certificates* *which are open to students currently enrolled in a graduate program in their home country. *The certificates will continue to have a *discounted tuition rate*, students will still be able to do an *internship *after the certificate and will still be eligible for *OPT* after completing both the
    certificate and internship.

The reason for this change in admissions is tied to a change in the curriculum for the certificates. We know it will mean a different sector of students interested in our programming at the graduate level and we look forward to providing you and your colleagues additional marketing materials on the new programming as soon as it is available.
