The College of Arts and Humanities offers The Arabic Flagship Program to Graduate Students for the academic year 2010/11 at the Maryland University in USA
The graduate Arabic Language Flagship Program at the University of Maryland trains students to a professional level proficiency in Arabic. These programs are partially funded by The Language Flagship. Students learn both Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and their choice of either the Levantine or the Egyptian dialect. Students earn either a Graduate Certificate of Professional Studies (GCPS) or a Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Arabic. Graduates are able to use Arabic in their respective professional fields at a superior competency level.
Eligibility:
The graduate school at University of Maryland requires all admitted graduate students to have a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States, or the equivalent of a baccalaureate degree in another country. A GPA of 3.0 is required for admission into this program.
