The scholarships must be used to support fieldwork in Southeast Asia on Islam-related topics that match the themes of Professor Tim Lindsey’s ARC Federation Fellowship. The value of this scholarship is AUD2000 (maximum per award). This award is to be used for research and travel. This scholarship is paid as a one off for the period of 1 year.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Cultural studies, Justice and legal studies, Law, Other law, justice and law enforcement, Other philosophy and religion or Religion and religious traditions. It is required that your study starts no earlier than December 1, 2009 and no later than December 31, 2010.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Brunei Darussalam, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand or Vietnam. You must have studied at or be currently studying at The University of Melbourne.
